A second consecutive year in the top 5% of Portuguese SMEs
SCORING has again certified Atelier Geometria in the TOP 5% Melhores PME de Portugal for a second consecutive year.
Six technology shows under one roof demonstrated how energy, cooling and automation already shape the design of industrial buildings.
At the 2025 edition of Singapore Tech Week at Marina Bay Sands, we attended six technology shows brought together under one roof, including Data Centre World Asia and Big Data & AI World Asia. The organisers recorded 29,241 attendees over the two days.
At Data Centre World Asia, liquid cooling was one of the dominant themes. Power density per rack has risen with the machines that train and run artificial intelligence models, to the point where air cooling no longer copes with some configurations.
Singapore illustrates the scale of the challenge: more than seventy data centres and around 1.4 GW of installed capacity in a territory of little more than seven hundred square kilometres. The Green Data Centre Roadmap provides for at least 300 MW of additional capacity, tied to energy efficiency targets.
The building starts being discussed in kilowatts before it is discussed in square metres. In logistics, the same pressure appears in other dimensions: robotic storage and retrieval systems work vertically and require clear heights, floor loads and tolerances unlike those of a conventional warehouse.
