In Santa Iria de Azóia, one of the Territorial Management Units of Bairro Portela da Azóia — three kinds of block, with the facilities and the green leaning on the collector road.
Bairro Portela da Azóia is divided into several Territorial Management Units (UGT), and this project covers UGT05. In its present occupation it is made up of 140 plots, in residential and economic activity use.
In morphotypological terms, UGT05 divides into three distinct sets of blocks: blocks with a single plot and two urban frontages, regular blocks with facing plots and two urban frontages, and blocks with a single urban access. Three parcels are proposed for facilities and two for green spaces, connected to the collector road; the development of a complementary proposal for the external works and for the enhancement of pedestrian accessibility is structuring as well.
